We already pay for ChatGPT Team. Why pay for this?
ChatGPT doesn't read your codebase. Story Refiner clones the repos you connect into an isolated per-chat workspace, then writes acceptance criteria that cite real files and prior tickets. The generic-AI workflow makes you the integration layer — pasting code in by hand and arguing with engineers when something was missed. We replace that workflow.
Is there a free plan?
No free plan, but Team includes a 14-day free trial with 1 connected repo and the full feature set — no credit card required. The trial is long enough to do 2–3 real refinement cycles. We don't run a perpetual free tier because each session has real per-clone compute cost; we'd rather charge fairly than gate features behind upgrade screens.
How is this different from Atlassian Intelligence or Linear AI?
Both see the ticket layer. Story Refiner sees the codebase + the ticket layer + the conversation. Atlassian Intelligence and Linear AI can summarize tickets and suggest labels; they can't say "this codebase already shipped a soft-delete pattern in v2.4 — use that." That cross-issue, cross-code reasoning is the difference.
Can we switch tiers later?
Yes. Solo → Team is one click and prorated. Team → Enterprise is an annual contract conversation. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period; we don't claw back unused time.
Are annual discounts available?
Yes — annual billing saves two months (≈17%) on Solo and Team. Enterprise is annual-only by design; the procurement cycles assume it.
What about security?
Read-only OAuth scopes by default. AES-256-GCM encrypted tokens at rest. Per-tenant isolation enforced at the type level. The agent does not write to your repos. The full threat model is on the Security page.
Will it work on our weird monorepo?
Probably yes. The agent picks up CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md / .github/copilot-instructions.md automatically, so the same conventions you use to onboard human engineers also onboard the agent. The 14-day trial is the cheapest way to find out.
Do you offer a DPA / SOC 2 report / pen-test summary?
DPA available to all paid tenants on request. SOC 2 Type II is in progress; Type I report available under NDA once issued. External pen-test scheduled for Q3 — summary will be linked from the Security page when complete.
What currency are you charged in?
USD or EUR — pick what suits your finance team at checkout. Prices are listed ex-VAT; VAT is added at checkout for EU customers based on your billing address. Other currencies on request — email us.
